360 Elite or HDTV?

I'm really eager to buy an Xbox 360 Elite but what's holding me back is that I dont own a HDTV. I'm 17 without a job (but I'm getting a summer job) and I currently have $600. I was thinking about getting a Vizio 32'' HDTV for $600 but should I get that first or get an Elite with a game and a warranty? I know that gameplay>graphics but I dont want to play my 360 on an SDTV knowing that it could look way better on an HDTV. So what should I buy?360 Elite or HDTV?
That's a hard decesion there. But if you plan on getting both, get the Elite now. You can save up MORE money in the summer to get a better/bigger HDTV.360 Elite or HDTV?
I would just save the money.The get both at the same time or close to the same time.Ya know.
have you already got a 360? if so i would get the tv... otherwise get the console first. id rather have a console than a big tv with nothing to use on it lol
I would get the 360 first...The 360 still looks good on a sdtv

I suppose it depends on if you have a 360 already or not. If you already have a 360, the answer is obvious. Get the TV. Otherwise, well, up to you.
I don't own a 360.
Get the system first. New HDTVs and price cuts are issued all the time. Waiting a couple months may be a better choice overall.If you need a game to get you through an extended period of time I'd pick up Oblivion. 
since you already have a tv, get a 360. you can at least enjoy your 360 playing games while hdtv prices keep dropping.  
With that kind of money you can't really afford a good TV.
