Yesturday just seemed to be one of my worst day in a lonnggg time. First of all, I couldn't go to my friends party because I didn't finish my homework in time. Then, I found out I had a saturday school that I didn't attend to, and now have to do it next week. But that was just the tip of the ice berg...I've been playing my 360 a lot lately, mostly Gears of War Multiplayer. But yesturday something just seemed wrong. My 360 kept having freezing issues, and it got pretty annoying, because I was in a ranked match with 21 kills and then the thing just freezes and I loose all my kills. Then I decided to take a brake from my 360 and go eat some dinner. About an hour or two later I went to play with my DS Lite, only to find out that it was out of battery, and I couldn't find the recharger. I then decide to go play some more gears, but it froze in the menu section. I once again reboot it only to hear a strange noise coming from the console and then see the dreaded three lights lit up the darkened room with its fury. I attomatically reboot, but no good, the lights lit up once more. Now I don't know what to do. I keep trying, and sometimes it does turn on correctly, but then it just freezes at the part where the microsoft logo is spinning. Other times (on rare occasions) it does boot up properly, goes to the menu slides, and I am able to boot up the game. But a little while later it just freezes during the game, and then when I re-boot it, either the red lights come up (almost every single time) or it freezes at the spinning logo. Is my 360 really dead? Is there anything else I can do? I already double checked all the wires, and it's plugged directly into an outlet and everything....Fortunately, I do have a Gamestop warrenty that I bought along with the console, but I don't know if my 360 is really gone or not...Can anyone help, please? My 360's life is coming to an end...(ple ...
Sorry your 360 is dead time for a new one.My 360's life is coming to an end...(ple ...

Yea its dead. Just happened to mine 2 days ago and I got a new one with my warranty from EB yesterday. Just make sure when you get your new one to renew the warranty
its good as dead. Get a new one
Yea bro there is no reason to keep the system if its freezing and having issues. You have a warranty just go get a new one and continue playing.
just call microsoft up at 1-800-4-myxbox they should tell how to fix it. plus you should have an warranty on it aready because when u buy an xbox it aready has an 1 year warranty on it

Honestly after reading all these threads about 360's ''pushing up daisies'' I am afraid to play mine for more than an hour at any given time :(
alright thanks guys, i just tried it one last time two minutes ago, but no good. It booted up, but then froze at the spinning logo. Re-booted it, and then the 3 red lights went off. I'm just going to go and replace it at the gamestop with my warraty. One last Question! Went I go return it, are they going to grab one off the shelf, all packaged up, and give me a brand new 360, or just give me another refurbished one?? Can oneone please answer this??
