what would be a good game to start with?

I'm planning on getting a 360 sometime this summer and i was wondering what game should i get to start out with.what would be a good game to start with?
What kind of games do you want? Shooters - GRAW or GRAW 2, Gears of War, Rainbow SIx VegasRPG - Oblivion, Marvel Ultimate alliance, Saint's Row? Action adventure - I forget.... what would be a good game to start with?
I really would like a good shooter game. 
Dead Rising, Rainbow Six Vegas, PGR3, Gears of War, Marvel Ultimate Alliance would be a couple of my top pics.. Lots of good games to play.   Really depends what genres you enjoy playing

What kind of shooter? Tactical Shooter- GRAW or GRAW 2. Realistic- Rainbow 6 Vegas. Overall Fun- Gears Of War, hands down.
Good shooters....Rainbow Six: Vegas, GRAW2, Gears of War would be where i'd start for shooters.  Most fun i've had in a single player campaign i would say either GRAW2, Gears of War.  Multiplayer any of those are good but i don't care for GRAW multi because they got rid of the clinging to the wall and 3rd person view.

RB6:Vegas, forza motorsport 2, dirt, gears of war, viva pinata...theres a huge list of good games. it all depends on wat u like most. shooters, adventures etc.

Yea man get Gears of War.  The campaign is pretty good,  and the multiplayer will keep you playing for months.
dead rising is a great game to start with but if youre looking for a shooter thats easy on beginners and is pretty basic go GoW. You want something a little more interesting go Vegas.
Gears of War Only if you like games that force you to use cover.

If you like to Cower like a little baby for 98% of the Game then Gears is Perfect.

If you like Brain Dead Squadmates to accompany you through your mission the Gears is Perfect again.



In case you can't tell I am Not a big Gears Fan.



Rainbow Six - Tactical Shooter, Not my style. But excellent if your into that type game.

Oblivion is Great First Person Role Playing - I hate RPGs but loved this game.

Call of Duty 2 or 3 are excellent First Person WWII Games.

Halo 1 has an Awesome story, If you haven't played it I would recommend that even though it is a last gen game.

GEARS of WAR for sure!!!
RainbowSix Vegas, Graw, Graw2, and Gears of War are great shooters. PDZ is my last choice, but I doubt you will like it.Oh, and don't forget CoD2. That too is a great shooter.
