am i at the end?

not of my life... but of gaming?i just turned 16, i've got a part time job with 10-14 bucks an hour, i have like six hundred dollars in my bank account and my XBOX that i have had for just over a year busted!!!!! my mom thinks that i should consentrate on my school and finish up then start a full time job, and WILL NOT LET ME buy a 360? how can i persuade her other wise?am i at the end?
on top of that, i just played gears of war for the first time..... lame i know..... and i love it!!!am i at the end?
I don't think you can persuade a person that thinks they're helping your education, but if your earning your money, then why is she telling you what to do with it?

Perhaps you could tell her that its your money and you can do with it what you want.  
Guess what? You live once... a $500 choice you make right now is probably going to hold no substantial merit when you're 35. So spend kid!  Work more hours if you have to... when I was sixteen I was working at least 35 hours a week on top of high school and video games and a gap pal, what have you...  Drive to the store, make the transaction and tell her to chill. For realz. And then send me some money via Pay-Pal.

Well one thing you could do is get it repaired.  Costs much less so maybe that could be on your side.  Other than that it sounds like your SOL. If you wanted to be sneaky buy one, toss out your old one and be like wow mom my 360 just magically started working again...deviant yes...but gets you back gaming.
