There's so many and I don't understand any of the details, and it was hard for me to see the difference between a 1300 dollar samsung and a 700 dollar westinghouse at best buy. (I know, I should be capitilizing) Anyway, can someone suggest an LCD HDTV 26-31'' tv with a max of $700-800? Thanks! Bah. HDTVs...ugh
I mean 26-32''Bah. HDTVs...ugh
Go with the Westinghouse. I got a 32'' Westinghouse TV for less than 600 bucks in the fall and it's awesome. 2 component ins, an hdmi, 720p, built in tuner... and other stuff... Samsung is an above average brand at high end prices, while Westinghouse is above average and at cheaper prices... but this should be in the hardware forum
Go to CNET.COM and view the ratings for hdtv's. Do a little research so you can get more bang to your buck.

Sorry.
Yeah, you definately have to do some heavy research before you buy. I bought the Samsung LNS2651D 26'' LCD HDTV. It's a really nice TV and I got it for a good price, but if I could go back, I might have gone with a 32'' Westinghouse or Olevia just because of the size difference.
You could keep an eye on Woot.com, they have LCD's all the time. Sometimes you will score and land a 1080P for cheap.
Look at Magnavox. My dad got a 32'' for around your price range.
i got a 37'' vizio from sams club for under a grand after taxes and everything. its got 2 hdmi ports, 2 component ports, 2 composite ports and 1 vga port.
Agreed on the cnet.com comment. I always go there before making such purchases.
I have a 32'' Samsung LCD HDTV (LNS-3241D), it gets the job done and hasn't failed me yet!

[/QUOTE] I know, I love my 32'' Vizio LCD HDTV :D Absolutely the best TV for the price. Paid $549.99 CAD for this bad-boy, and it's loaded with features and inputs.
