Why do people call halo3 H3?

Why is every1 calling halo3 h3? it drives me crazy whenever someone says H3 I have to pause and think for a second, its lame anyways. When the word H3 comes up halflife 3 comes to mind before halo3, why not just call it halo, with half life it is fine to call it hl2 or hl or hl3(When they make one).Why do people call halo3 H3?
caus halo is one word hence H3. ppl already call Half-Life 2, HL2, caus half and life are 2 words.Why do people call halo3 H3?

Half-Life would be HL...
H3 = Halo 3
HL3 = Half Life 3

Oh and HL3 doesn't even exist yet, nor has it even been announced, so when people talk about ''omg I just played the H3 Beta on my 360!'' I can't believe you even consider it being Half-Life 3 -__-''

Easy, people nowadays tend to look for quicker way of communication. The results of the massive use of online chat services has caused this. Thats why games are abreviated to letters and numbers.
